Costas Georgiou, Chairman of Green Lanes Business Association (GLBA) and his committee are pleased to announce that this year’s Palmers Green Shopping Festival will be held on Saturday 16th June 2012. The event will begin at 11am to 4pm and will be held though Green Lanes N13 and Aldermans Hill.
This year we have arranged a whole host of fun events, including various forms of Dancing from local ethnic communities, Enfield Blaze Cheerleaders and we have the Hazelwood School Choir. There are Clowns and Street Entertainers with our very own Punch and Judy show. We have Face Painters about the Town Centre, a Caribbean Steel Band and of course GLBA have organised the popular annual Treasure Hunt for all children under 12 years old and this year it is sponsored by Patersons Estates and KidzBiz.
We are pleased to announce that for the first time we have an online Funny Face Picture Competition, for details see and “Like” it.
The Palmers Green shopping festival is a light hearted, fun day out for all the family so come and join us.
It is also an opportunity to for local businesses to promote themselves and to remind Enfield’s people what a fantastic Town Centre Palmers Green is. Baskervilles Tea Shop is offering Tea and Cake tasting in Aldermans Hill and there will be other delights to sample on the way.
We would like everybody to support the Palmers Green shopping festival so come along and have a great day out and support local businesses at the same time.
